Minimum Days Between Visits: How Recurring Handyman Work Comes Due
Days, Not Dates
Instead of "every April 1", a service has a minimum number of days between visits. The house comes due that many days after the last completed visit.
Why It Works
If a spring visit slips a week because of rain, the fall visit moves with it.
Common Intervals
- Gutters: 180 days.
- Yearly checkup: 365 days.
- Filters: 90 days.
- Property manager walk-through: 30 days.
Grace Period
Due visits turn overdue after a 7-day grace, so a few days late isn't an emergency.
Batching
Because visits come due near each other, you can batch them by neighborhood.
