The Handyman Dispatch Board: Every Van, Every Day, in Order

What the Board Shows

The dispatch board is the day laid out by van: which jobs each van has, in what order, and what's still unassigned. It's the one screen the owner or office checks first in the morning and last in the afternoon.

Balancing Vans

Some vans get loaded and some sit light. The board shows the imbalance at a glance. Move a short job from a packed van to a lighter one that's working nearby.

Splitting by Skill

Not every tech does everything. Your best finish carpenter should get the trim and door work; a newer tech can take gutters, assembly and TV mounts. Assign by skill on the board, not just by geography.

Changes During the Day

Plans change. A job runs long, a customer cancels, an urgent call comes in. Move jobs on the board and the tech's phone updates with the new order.

Skips and Notes

When a tech skips a job, it comes back with a reason: nobody home, parts needed, the customer wants to reschedule. The office can rebook from the board.

Saved Views

Save views for each van or for the whole company, so whoever is dispatching opens straight to the view they use.
