The Task List on the Job Card
The List Is the Scope
For a honey-do visit, the list is what the customer is paying for. It belongs right under the address on the job card.
Read It at the Door
Walk the list with the customer before starting. Confirm each item, ask about anything unclear and agree on what fits in the booked time.
Items Added at the Door
Customers often add items. Note them on the job. If they fit, do them. If not, note them as a follow-up for the office to quote.
Priorities
Ask the customer which items matter most. If time runs out, the important ones are done.
Finish With the List
At the end, walk the list again with the customer. It's the moment they see everything that got done, and the best time to mention the follow-up items.
